THE HEART BEHIND FRIZE HOMESTEAD CO
Hi, I’m Megan! Born and raised in Indiana, I moved to Los Angeles my senior year of high school where I acted, modeled, and worked in marketing for Redbull. I then got my degree in Visual Communication from FIDM, where I learned about everything that appeals to one’s eye — and that’s where my love story with interior design went from dream to reality. Finally, I attended Loyola Marymount University, where I delved deeper into the speciality of Interior Design. After all my education I was feeling the call to head back toward the East. But there was another plan for me.
As I was beginning the relocation process, the love of my life fell into my lap! Things moved quick as we always would say, “we’re making up for lost time.” We got married, our little family grew, we worked hand and hand on the side for many years until realizing… “HEY! We can do this together, let’s do it!” Thus FHCo was born. With the best teammate I could possibly ask for. The general contractor to my interior design soul.

Megan FRIZE

I’m Dalton — a former college baseball player who, through many twists and turns in my journey, found my way into becoming the third generation in a family of general contractors. From coaching baseball to digital marketing and several other detours in between, I left no stone unturned on my career path. However, as the old saying goes, “home is where the heart is” — and after all those experiences, I returned to the family business of general contracting and found “home.”
Not long after that, I met my amazing wife Megan. It was a match made in heaven. Megan was finishing up Interior Design school, and I was finding my ‘footing’ (no pun intended) in the world of general contracting. After several years of working together behind the scenes, we could no longer ignore the calling to join forces. My strengths as a general contractor and my passion for logisitcs / operations, compliment her strengths in design / style and her passion for improving the lives of those around her. Together this has proven to be the perfect foundation (pun intended) for FHCo.

We are obsessed with the little family we’ve created and love spending as much time as humanly possible together — including our animals :)
We obsess over late night Facebook marketplace browsing, antiquing, and local garage sales to find perfect pieces that we feel need a home! Take a look at some of our finds here!
Together, we love to do what we call "real estate walking", which is us just walking or driving through new neighborhoods and checking them out together.
We love hiking, biking, yoga, going to concerts, playing with our little guys & animals, trying new food, yoga, & brainstorming design!
